Lettuce - Coastal Star

This romaine is early maturing with a high resistance to corky root. Heads are tightly packed around blanched tender hearts, and have an overall pleasant lettuce flavour.

Growth is very upright on plants that average around 30cm (12″) tall.

How big will my seedling be?

While most of our seedlings grow tall, strong, and hearty, we cannot guarantee the size of each seedling.

This item is available for pickup only on Saturday, May 9th at the Nepean Museum (16 Rowley ave) from 9 am - 2 pm. No shipping is offered at checkout. It may also be available (quantities permitting) at the Friends of the Farm Sale on Sunday, May 10th from 8:30 am - 1 pm.
